EPAC POLICIES & PROCEDURES

At Extreme Performing Arts Center, we want to set up all students, parents and instructors for success. We have established the following policies to ensure a safe and productive environment.

Please carefully review our studio’s policies below.

EPAC encourages parents and guardians to stay up to date with our reminder texts, website updates, and Facebook and Instagram notifications. Parents are asked to stay on top of schedules, events, and important dates.

Arrival & Departure Policies

  • Please use the driveway near FM 1488 to enter the premises and use the driveway nearest Fish Creek Thoroughfare to exit
  • Avoid parking near the entry and exit points.
  • Be punctual when picking up and dropping off your child. EPAC is not responsible for providing child care.

Lobby Policies

  • Parents/guardians must supervise siblings of dancers at all time. Please be mindful to not make loud noises in the lobby as this can distract the students and instructors.
  • No running, dancing, tumbling, or yelling is allowed in the lobby. Avoid playing with the vending machine, water fountain, and/or merchandise.
  • Parents must accompany any child 5 or younger to the bathroom. Please do not allow children to waste toiletries.

Attendance/Absence

  • Students/dancers are expected to be present in class every week. Tardiness or uninformed absences may have a negative impact on the class.
  • EPAC doesn't conduct any makeup classes for skipped lessons due to school functions, illness, or weather conditions.

Dance Class Observation

  • We appreciate the support of dancers' families, but parents are not allowed to sit in on or interrupt the children during their classes. We have open blinds for observation during the first full week of each month (see the calendar for specific dates).

Lost and Found

  • Please mark all shoes, dancewear, and personal items with your child’s name.
  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items your child brings to dance class.
  • EPAC has a lost and found box across from Studio A. We donate all unclaimed items remaining in the box at the end the month.

Dress & Shoe Code

Ballet/Tap/Tumble Pom/Lyrical/ Jazz Hip-Hop
Flat Tap Shoes (black) Or Ballet Shoes (pink) Tan Jazz Shoes Tennis Shoes (white soles only)
  • Dance Attire and Leotards can be worn in any style and/or color
  • Athletic attire (shorts/ leggings)
  • No street clothing is allowed, this includes jeans!
  • Please wear hair pulled back securely
